The Flying X Ranch certainly has some impressive views and this page is intended to share some of those with you. This is the place to come to see what the ranch looks like if you haven't been there or to provide ample memory triggers so you can daydream about the last time you were there. There is also news and information about photo opportunities on the ranch and instructions for sharing your latest snapshots.

Expanded Bird and Wildflower Galleries

Just in time for the depths of winter, we have significantly expanded our wildflower and bird galleries. Included in this collection is the Dwarf Columbine in the Buttercup family (as pictured here). Although you can't tell from the picture, the plant is only a few inches high and the flower is only about an inch across. It is a threatened species and only exists between Laramie Peak and Laramie in very limited, special locations. A real gem for the ranch!

Visit the new Wildflowers Gallery where you can enjoy the natural beauty of the ranch. A big thank you Deb Verrelli for providing almost 80 photos to get this gallery started. The picture here is a sample of what you will find. Many of the photos have been identified by species, but that is still a work in progress. If you can identify any that are titled "Wildflowers #", please send the name of the species and the # of the photo to GalleryEditor@myfxr.com.

Thanks to Lisa for the beautiful pictures that she provided for the website. They sure brighten up the place.

Unfortunately, we had to drop the resolution on them for the sake of a faster site, but they still give a beautiful picture of what the ranch is like.

For those who have not seen the ranch, all of the pictures at the top of each page were taken on the ranch.
