Seasonal Ranch Hand / Wrangler

We are looking for motivated friendly Ranch Hand / Wranglers. Primary duties include guiding trail rides for beginners to advanced riders, wrangling and general maintenance of horse herd including grooming and tacking. Secondary duties involve fencing, irrigation, construction and grounds keeping. Housing and utilities provided, weekend and holidays mandatory. Employment is available May thru September with possible weekends in April and October.

Job responsibilities include maintaining and updating business files and record systems, cost and Ranch use statistics, taking cabin, meal, horse and social activity reservations. Some accounting experience is desirable and a working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets is needed.

Maintenance Operations Foreman

The position offers a varied daily routine for an individual who has work experience in carpentry, welding, electrical and plumbing. Other duties include maintaining and operating ranch equipment for haying, pasture and road maintenance. Some record keeping required. Experience in wildlife and land management are preferred.
